Graphic Design Photography Website Development
Construction companies don’t get much more humble than Carolina Bridge. They’ve spent the last four decades building bridges throughout the Carolinas. There aren’t logos plastered on their company trucks, and their ‘executives’ are on site every day with clothes as dirty as anyone else’s.
Until recently, they had no marketing of any kind. In an effort to attract more people to their company, they partnered with BuildWitt to develop a world-class website dedicated to celebrating their workforce.
Before developing their new website, we visited Carolina Bridge in South Carolina to photograph their bridge-building operations and meet their people. We spent two days visiting four different bridge projects between Columbia, SC and Charleston, SC, along with their fabrication shop. It was a fantastic experience photographing their humble and hard-working people.
Carolina Bridge didn’t have an existing website of any sort. 100% of their work is public, making a web presence or marketing of any sort irrelevant. Until now.
Carolina’s leadership requested a website dedicated to celebrating their people and attracting new hires to the company. We built a dynamic careers page showing the benefits of working at Carolina, from training to compensation to career paths, along with photos and testimonials from their people.
Along with their new website, Carolina Bridge wanted to roll out new billboards and career fair materials matching the website style. Using BuildWitt photos, our design team created multiple billboard layouts, as well as cards and banners for career fairs. All materials are targeted toward people who have unfulfilling jobs and could benefit from a different career path in construction.
