Started in 2012 with just a skid steer and a pickup truck, RAWSO has quickly grown to full site-development work, capable of everything from mass excavation to paving. Their growth is fantastic, and they’re on track to eventually become the premier heavy construction company in Tennessee, by staying true to their innovative beliefs when it comes to people and management.
RAWSO partnered with BuildWitt to modernize the entirety of their digital marketing—there isn’t a single aspect of their marketing we haven’t touched, from web to social to design. BuildWitt plans to help RAWSO grow to be one of the biggest civil contractors in the US.
We visit RAWSO projects around Tennessee quarterly to capture their people and machines in action. While they don’t have any mega-machines just yet, their sites are some of the best we visit. All their people are excited to have their work captured, and everyone looks professional. The photos are then used for social media posts, as well as blog posts and website updates.
RAWSO wanted a website showing what they stood for as a company. Their existing website had stock imagery, text that didn’t explain much, no current projects, and no featured employees. The only ways to apply for a job were to either visit their office in person, or to download, scan, and email an application.
Their new site features dynamic photos and videos of their actual projects, along with quotes from their employees and client testimonials. It explains exactly what their capabilities are, and explains why they’re the best choice for any civil project in Tennessee. For hiring, they’ve integrated JazzHR with the website, completely replacing their outdated and ineffective application process.
The BuildWitt design team works with RAWSO to develop whatever materials they need, from simple hiring ads to an explainer PDF for prospective clients.
